Kate Jackson started her career in 1970 with a recurring role in popular TV series Dark Shadows. Jackson played Daphne Harridge in 70 episodes of the series from 1970 – 1971, the year the show ended. The show focused on the Collins family in the town of Collinsport in Maine, and how they experienced strange sounds and sightings in their home. The show started in 1966 and ran for a total of 1245 episodes up until 1971.

Jackson went on to the movie Night of the Dark Shadow in 1971 and played the role of Tracey Collins. The movie was an adaptation of the TV series and focused on Quentin Collins, a painter, and his wife who are plagued by spirits of their ancestors who were thought to be witches in their day. Quentin Collins was played by David Selby, who played Collins in the series, and the role of Tracey Collins, played by Jackson in the movie, was not originally in the series.

Kate Jackson ended 1971 with a guest spot on The Jimmy Stewart Show and played Janice Morton in episodes called A Run for City Commissioner and The Identity Crises. She started 1972 out with a TV movie and played Nurse Michelle Johnson in The New Healers before going on to Bonanza, Movin On and Limbo all in the same year. From 1973 to 1975 she starred in movies like Satan’s School for Girls, Killer Bees, Death Cruise and Death Stream.

In 1976 Kate Jackson ended a recurring role in the popular TV series The Rookies, she played Jill Danko in the role, which she had from 1972 and starred and 93 episodes. In 1976 she landed the role that would make her name immortal in the acting world, Sabrina Duncan, one of the famous Charlie’s Angels in the TV series of the same name. Kate Jackson starred in 69 episodes of the show that had a five season run. Farrah Fawcett and Jacklyn Smith starred opposite her as the other two angles and John Forsythe played the leader of the group, Charlie Townsend, but was never seen on the show.

After starring in a few movies from 1979 – 1983 Kate Jackson landed another recurring role in the TV series Scarecrow and Mrs. King. She played Mrs. Amanda King in the series that lasted four seasons and a total of 89 episodes. Jackson’s career showed no signs of slowing down and went all the way through the early 1990’s where she landed a role in the popular TV series Ally Mcbeal in the 1997, in the episode called The Kiss. In 2000 when the movie remake of Satan’s School for Girls came around Jackson jumped at the chance to be a part of the project and played The Dean in the remake.

From 2002 she landed roles in movies and TV series like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Third Watch where she played Jan Martin in two episodes in 2004, Family Guy, and Criminal Minds, where she played Ambassador Elizabeth Prentiss in the episode named Honor among Thieves in 2007.
